Class Description

Private Tuition *

Classes are held daily for students from the age of 2 – 21 years.

In these lessons choreography is delivered to the student(s) for either a solo, duet, trio or quartet.

This lessons provide skill, discipline, confidence, performance and musicality.

We recommend all students attend a 1-2-1 lesson to improve their training and quality of the art forms.  Genres that can be covered for festival work can be from Ballet, Tap, Modern, Lyrical, Character, Song and Dance, National, Greek, Stylised Modern-Ballet and Street.  It is evident that students who participate on the performance platform steadily but surely enhance standards all round.

Street dance– Tuesdays 4.30-5pm

Also informally referred to as street, is an umbrella term which encompasses a range of dance styles characterised by descriptions such as hip hop, funk and breakdancing. Its eclectic nature has spawned a whole new street dance lexicon, including terms such as popping, locking, waving and krumping.

Walkover to Acro Class- Tuesdays 5-6.30pm

Acrobatics teaches flexibility, balance, strength and much more. This class will focus on the technique to enable you to do the stunts you would want to do. You will learn handstands, Cartwheels, walkovers, balancing on a beam and so much more.

Acro Dance is an art form specifically for dancers. Acro has softer, more lyrical looking lines, with the emphasis being on lengthening “through” the tricks and holding pretty balances with interesting variations. In Acro, we teach our students to dance into and out of Acro tricks, with minimal obvious “prep” before and after a trick. Despite being technically difficult to execute, acrobatic tricks are meant to blend in seamlessly with dance steps, providing an extra level of excitement and flair to dance choreography.
